Robert Westwood

Robert Westwood


Robert Westwood has been a partner in the firm since 1990. He was born and brought up in Motherwell and Wishaw and is a local man through and through supporting his local football team through their ups and downs at Fir Park as well as being a keen supporter of Dalziel Rugby Club for whom both his boys play in the youth teams.


He is the current President of Lanarkshire Chamber of Commerce and has been involved in the Chamber of Commerce movement in Motherwell and Lanarkshire for many years.


He is a keen believer in networking and is a founder member of one of Lanarkshire’s oldest breakfast networking clubs, the 1700 Club.


Robert attended Glasgow University and since he qualified he has been with Ballantyne & Copland. His main areas of practice are in domestic and commercial conveyancing, wills, trusts and executries and advising on the particular issues that revolve around the elderly such as how to minimise care home costs, powers of attorney and guardianships.

Mark Lunny

Mark Lunny


Mark was born and brought up in Lanarkshire and continues to live locally with his wife and family.


After qualifying as a solicitor Mark practiced Criminal Law in Stirling for a number of years. On his return to the Lanarkshire area, he has expanded his workload to include both Criminal and Civil Court work.


Mark joined our firm in early 2008 and has continued to practice both Criminal and Civil law. Mark is currently heading up our Criminal department using his extensive knowledge and expertise in this area of law.


Mark also has in interest in Guardianship applications and assisting those with elderly or disabled relatives.
